Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship

Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship lists are determined for three student categories where the number of completed course credits range between 30-59, 60-89, and above 90.

The Scholarships are given for Fall and Spring semesters. For Fall semester, the student GPAs as of the end of the last Spring semester are taken into consideration. The courses taken in summer term (if there are any) are not taken into account. For Spring semester, the student GPAs as of the end of the previous Fall semester are taken into consideration.

Students who were on Exchange programs in the previous Fall or Spring semester need to transfer their courses with grades in order to be considered for the scholarship.

Students who took less than their normal course load in the previous Fall or Spring semester will not be considered for Scholarship in the current semester. 1-credit courses are not counted towards normal course load.

Students who received the scholarship in a semester are eligible for the scholarship evaluation in the following semesters.

For each semester, a new scholarship list is prepared taking into account the updated student GPAs and the scholarship budget.

*In case of an academic discipline action which requires a penalty by the Student Discipline Regulation, or in case of an administrative discipline action which requires a penalty of suspension for a semester (or more) by the Student Discipline Regulation, the student cannot be included in the scholarship list.

*Normal course load is at least 15 credits.
